The HEAT Series blends rugged durability with a sleek, modern design. It uses two high-performance materials for exceptional water resistance and strength. Since its debut in 2001 A/W, the lineup has evolved to match contemporary lifestyles, offering a range of products from business bags to everyday essentials.
Crafted in Japan, the main material is varistor nylon, a 66 nylon thread fabric also used in car airbags and bulletproof vests. It provides superior heat resistance, abrasion resistance, and tear strength. Select areas feature highly water-resistant tarpaulin fabric, creating a textured contrast while maintaining a one-tone black color for a stylish yet functional look.
With military-inspired details, the series incorporates the PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) for modular customization, D-rings, and a double ring for securing small accessories. The high-density woven nylon tape maintains the bag’s shape, preventing sagging while enhancing handling and structure.
Most models, excluding pouches, wallets, and pen cases, come with a detachable natural leather key chain and a PORTER-branded Maglite flashlight (includes warranty, key chain, batteries, and attention card in a special case).

We use the highest quality technical fabrics available on the market and are passionate about curating a collection of timeless, lasting items. To keep your gear in great shape, wash it on cold and gentle cycle for apparel and spot clean for everything else. Do not tumble dry and hang dry immediately after washing. Do not bleach.

We ship from our NYC office on Mondays to Fridays (excluding holidays). Note that we may require a handling period of 1-2 days.
For US orders over $150, shipping is free; otherwise, flat rates apply based on your location and may fluctuate. Standard US delivery takes 4-10 business days, while express takes 2-3. For international orders, shipping time varies depending on where you're located.
Remember, international customers are responsible for import duties and taxes.
