We've got a couple of shipping updates to share. One's the kind of news nobody loves, and one we think you'll actually be pretty happy about. Let's get the less fun one out of the way first.
Free shipping now starts at $200
Starting 09/22/2026, free shipping kicks in at $200 instead of $150. Orders under that will ship at a flat rate:

We held off on this as long as we could. Shipping costs have climbed a lot this year, and every holiday season the carriers pile extra surcharges on top of that. We were covering the difference ourselves for a while, but it got to the point where we'd have to either raise prices on the gear or start cutting corners on packing and shipping. Neither of those felt right. So we went with tiers that keep things reasonable, especially on smaller orders, without us losing our shirts on every box that goes out.
Now the good news: free package protection on every order
We're bringing back Route Package Protection on every single order, on us. No add-on at checkout, no minimum, nothing to remember. If your package gets lost, swiped off your porch, or shows up busted, you file a claim with Route, and they sort it out, usually way faster than waiting on a carrier investigation.
Honestly, this one matters a lot to us. The holidays are prime time for missing packages, and nobody should have to stress about whether that gift is going to make it. If you're paying a bit more for shipping, you should get real peace of mind with it.
Same as always
Everything still ships from our shop in New York, packed by us. One flat rate covers your whole order, so bundling stuff together is still the cheapest way to go.
Quick holiday tip
If you're close to $200, it might be worth knocking out a few gifts in one order. You'll get free shipping, one package to track, and protection on the whole thing either way.
