We are incredibly grateful and frankly, a little overwhelmed, by the phenomenal response to this collaboration! The patches practically flew off the shelves, and we thank every single one of you who managed to snag one.
An Honest Mistake, Honored Price
However, we need to address a situation with the initial pricing. Due to an internal oversight, the launch price for the metal patch was incorrectly listed.
The actual production costs for this piece—which involves intricate metal etching, custom tooling, and the limited nature of the run—were significantly higher than the price you saw at checkout. In short, the patch was substantially undervalued at its initial launch price.
Moving Forward: Honouring Your Orders
Here is our commitment to you:
All orders already placed at the original, incorrect price will be honored. Since the stock is almost entirely sold out, we feel this is the right way to thank you for your immediate support and apologize for our error. We are not cancelling or changing any existing orders.
Moving forward, for any remaining stock or future restocks, the price will be adjusted to reflect its true value. This necessary price increase will align the patch's cost with the high-quality materials and complex manufacturing process.
We understand that a price change is never ideal, but it is necessary to ensure the continued viability of producing these unique, high-quality collaborations that you love.
