Attitude Supply is a design company based in Milan, Italy founded by Michele Fasano in 2011. In the very early stages of his brand, he had no connections to the manufacturing world, no design background, and not a lot of assets. The only striving forces he did have was curiosity, determination, and his will to learn. Hence, he only had his attitude which became part of the chosen name for his brand. He knew his main goal was to advance his skills and develop travel gear, so he first started by selling clothes including t-shirts and sweatshirts to stores around Milan. Knowing that once everything really starts to kick off, it’s imperative to maintain that connection with the brand and audience. Fasano did exactly that – and in order to prevent the name of the brand from becoming too intrusive or obnoxious.

Fasano mentioned “…but attitude is still my fuel to learn and to create, so I’ll keep using it, together with the less flashy ATD Supply.”

Two significant design features that Fasano incorporates are balance and aesthetics. A clean aesthetic along with security and comfort are the main features of his designs. Daily Usage

Despite COVID still reining terror worldwide and many of us are working from home, our daily tasks still need to get done (with extra precautions of course.) Thankfully, the ATD1 allows us to get things done without having to make extra pit stops. This backpack endures the harsh storms during those times we just have no choice but to go out during bad weather. Through the back and forth walking across the city, office sitting, and trips in and out of the car, our belongings remain intact and organized.

Function

We are glad to have a bag that is able to expand from 20 to 50 liters. We can fit our extra pair of gym clothes, office supplies, an umbrella, and the rest of our EDC gear, (and yes, even our kid’s toys too.) It’s really freeing to not have an extra bag in your hand and not have to worry about misplacing any of your belongings or worse, falling down the stairs from not being able to have a hand to hold onto the railing. Smaller details like the key leash and pen slots in the front compartment really adds to its value as well. We also appreciate the roll-top closure keeping belongings safe in crowded areas as it can fold inside when you need it for quick access and low profile.

Form

This bag really is amazing in allowing us to maximize space for our gear on the go. The roll-top closure stands up to expand the bag's volume which helps whenever you need some extra room. Along with the zipper on the back panel, you’ve got your top and side access, as well as the much needed clamshell opening for when you need to dig deep. The compression straps also sit nicely and we’re able to wear this bag comfortably throughout the day.

Final Verdict

We love a durable, comfortable, and versatile bag. The ATD1 backpack is highly beneficial to a productive day whether you’re going to the grocery store, running to an office meeting, going for a hike, just casually traveling, or any other reason to keep you from staying at home. Who is it for?

The ARB bag is well suited for those who are having a leisure day out, a trip to the beach, park, or running quick errands. It’s similar to the ATD1 bag’s great features but in a tote bag form which makes it an efficient go-to bag for those city life meetings or adventures.

Daily Usage

When we have a less hectic day out, we like to take the ARB tote with us on our days out. It’s convenient to have as it matches with any attire, simple, easy to access, and is not bulky. Moreover, its modern and sleek style is fit for the office and can fit our laptop securely. For those times when we return from a vacation trip and have to work the next day, not having to swap items from an ever so clearly styled vacation bag to an office appropriate bag definitely saves us time in the mornings.

Function

We’ve seen other bags that need a bag within a bag because it doesn’t have a good enough organization system. For the ARB bag, this is not the case. We are glad it’s spacious on the inside while still incorporating an exterior pocket to keep your items separate to your preference. There are also two internal pockets in the front compartment for even more organization.

Form

There’s no wrong way to wear this bag – you can carry it by hand, crossbody style, or on the side of your shoulder. Like the ATD1 bag, the ARB bag’s padded adjustable handles, combined with the rolling luggage compatibility make this tote suitable for both everyday carry and travel. This bag features a roll top closure as well and folds inside when you need it to disappear to keep your belongings safe. Furthermore, it is able to stand up to expand the bag's volume for those times when you realize a little too late to pack an extra bag.
