The Apex fatures a dual access main compartment with a front zipper and a roll-top, plus an interior mesh pocket to hold small valuables. A pleated interior back pocket fits a laptop but also doubles as a hydration reservoir sleeve (with zippered pass-through for the drinking tube).

This special version of the Apex Day Pack is made out of special Smoke UX10 fabric by  Dimension-Polyant, a super light and exceptionally strong XPAC featuring a semi-transparent 3 layer construction.
