We have some seriously exciting news that’s been years in the making: Evergoods is officially here at UrbanCred!
For me (Gordon), this isn't just another new brand; it’s a personal victory and the culmination of a long-running internal mission. Ever since I first started working here, I’ve been asking the same question: "Hey, Eddy, how about Evergoods? Can we get Evergoods?" It always felt like that big, satisfying task we kept putting off. Well, consider that box checked. Evergoods finally reached back out and confirmed what we've always wanted to hear. They're ready to join us in bringing their collection to UrbanCred!
The Commuter's Dilemma: One Bag for Every World
The reason I've been so persistent about bringing Evergoods in comes down to their core philosophy: Crossover Equipment. This idea immediately resonated with how I, and honestly, most of our customers, live and move.
Think about your average commute. You might start with a bike ride, transition to a packed subway car, and finish with a walk to the office.
The problem? Most bags are built for one world. Evergoods solves this. Their design language hits that perfect sweet spot: a bag that doesn't scream "outdoor guy" when you're indoors, but is still undeniably capable when you're out. They build bags that seamlessly transition from the trail to the train to the office, without looking out of place in any environment. This ability to be both rugged and refined is why, in my book, Evergoods comes closest to achieving the idea of a "perfect bag."
The Icon and the Collaboration Patch
You might already know the Evergoods logo—it’s a simple, elegant check box icon (☐). For us here at UrbanCred, that little checked box represents two things: the long-overdue task of finally bringing this amazing brand into our store, and the ultimate goal of having gear built to check off all the demands of your varied day.
To celebrate this monumental addition, we designed a special collaboration patch that blends both our identities:

The Checkmark: Naturally, we maintained the core Evergoods check box icon, utilizing it for one half of the design to honor their brand identity.

The UrbanCred Element: For the one (triangle) section, we incorporated a design element we had previously worked on for our Lunar New Year metal patch with Oddjobs earlier this year. This design was something we loved and thought it fit this purpose perfectly.

The Finish: We produced the patch in durable PVC and finished the design with glow-in-the-dark white.
The result is a subtle, high-quality patch that is obviously Evergoods, but with distinct, thoughtful UrbanCred details baked into the material and design.
